My name is Stacey Hampton, owner of The Purple Butterfly Boutique. It all started in the spring of 07'. We were trying to conceive child #4 and I stumbled upon a Cloth Diapering message board; intrigued I checked it out. That's when the love began! The reasons to use cloth diapers made perfect sense to me, so I started slowly buying pockets, prefolds, all-in-ones, covers. My son at the time was still using disposable diapers overnight so I switched him. How exciting that was!

I am naturally creative and wanted to spruce up the prefolds I had. After a bunch of research, I decided to try my hand at dyeing the prefolds and sewing cotton embellishments. My husband was quite impressed with my work and suggested I do this for a living. I was working a full time job at AT&T and wanted to be a stay at home mom again so I figured.... why not! I quit my job about a month later and now do this full time!

The freedom I have now to stay home with my children and support the cloth diapering cause has given me a lot of joy. I LOVE seeing the sweet babies with their bottoms covered in cotton, but not just plain white... embellished with such fun prints and appliques!
