Please keep in mind these are JUST recommendations and what you may find to work for you may be different. You can check out THIS site to get other options as well. We HIGHLY recommend washing your dyed prefolds seperately for the 1st time incase the dye bleeds.

Step #1- If they are extra soiled you may want to do a pre-soak for about 30min to loosen everything up in cold water.

Step #2- You can wash in warm, cold or hot, but remember that hot will set stains. Use a tbsp/single squirt of regular Dawn dish detergent (depending on load size as well), 1 tsp of baking soda and a Downy ball with vinegar but only go halfway to the first line (We recommend only using the baking soda and vinegar every 8-10 washes because some babies can develop a skin rash.)

Step #3- Run an extra rinse cycle on warm or cold to rid of any residue that may have been left behind from the soap or baking soda/vinegar combo.

Step #4- You can either hang them to dry or use the dryer. Since there is no elastic, there is very little damage if any that the dryer can do to the prefold.
